Here's what Judith has to say about her adaption of my 'Sweet 2016' pattern, isn't it terribly tempting?!

 

"Hi Esther, Sending you a picture of my version of Sweet Mystery. The quilt is all needle turn appliqué and I changed the dove on top of the cake to a 50 in celebration of my 50th anniversary. I used a black and white check background because it reminded me of a French bakery. I named my quilt “Through the Bakery Window”. It’s one of my favorite quilts. "

Judith, I love your adaption and your black and white chef background is genius. You really have evoked a sophisticated patisserie. Congratulations on 50 years of marriage - what a fabulous cake to take centre stand!
